The Langtang Valley Trek – 16 Days / 15 Nights offers a stunning journey through the culturally rich and naturally diverse Langtang region of Nepal. This moderate trek is ideal for beginners and families, as it ascends gradually through rhododendron forests, charming Tamang villages, Buddhist monasteries, and spectacular Himalayan landscapes.

Trek Highlights

1. Cultural Richness

Experience Tamang and Buddhist culture firsthand in traditional mountain villages and ancient monasteries such as Kyanjin Gompa.
Visit Moni's stone walls and spinning prayer wheels on the trail.

2. Scenic Beauty

Pass through colorful rhododendron forests, yak pastures, and alpine meadows.
Enjoy fantastic views of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Langshisha Ri, Naya Kang, and Charkuri.

3. Spiritual Sites

Visit the sacred Gosainkunda Lake and Temple, a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, surrounded by over a dozen holy lakes.
Climb Kyanjin Ri for a closer view of Langtang Glacier and snowcapped peaks.

This itinerary combines two popular routes—Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda Lake—creating a rewarding loop filled with sacred lakes, breathtaking passes, and warm hospitality in the tea houses.


Drive from Kathmandu (1360 m) to Sundarijal (30 min) Start the trek to Chisapani (4–5 hrs trek)

Chisapani to Chipling (6–7 hrs trek)

Chipling to Kutumsang (6–7 hrs trek)

Kutumsang to Mangengoth (5–6 hrs trek)

Mangengoth to Gopte (5–6 hrs trek)

Gopte to Gosainkunda (7–7.5 hrs trek) Explore Gosainkunda Temple and nearby sacred lakes

Gosainkunda to Dimsa (5 hrs trek) via Lauribina Pass (highest point ~4560 m)

Dimsa to Tulo Barkhu (5–6 hrs trek)

Rest day in Tulo Barkhu

Tulo Barkhu to Lama Hotel (6–7 hrs trek)

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (6 hrs trek)

Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (4 hrs trek)
