Bonny Himalaya Treks and Expedition (p).Ltd. Licence 4th August 2010. (1177/067). The company founder, Mr. Bhai Kaji Tamang (Pilot BK), after finishing his high school education at Khumjung Secondary School (founded by Sir Edmund Hillary), was inspired by the thousands of tourists visiting the Khumbu Valley to organize trekking and adventure tours in the Himalayas. Completing a bachelor’s degree, I decided to establish a company.
Company Philosophy
Bonny Himalaya Trek is a Nepal-based tour, trek, adventure, and expedition operator travel agency best of its kind, managed and staffed by a Nepali team of experts (more than a dozen trek professionals directly involved, including 15 experienced and medically trained trekking and climbing guides). Being responsible, we are committed to preserving the fragile environment, and we are extremely aware of our social liability, out of which we always appoint ourselves to varied projects that would facilitate the remote trekking areas. Besides, drinking water projects and educating porters children after the April earthquake, we have dedicated ourselves to building several schools, temporary fine material shelters, health posts, collecting clothes, and donating computers to remote schools. We believe in organizing small groups to guarantee top-quality service and safety at a competitive fair cost. We trust in our quality and reliability, out of which we have got the greatest achievement of all, i.e, positive results and word of mouth recommendations from our guests. Your satisfaction is our future. Unlike many larger and smaller companies, all of our local trekking leaders are recruited only after years of adventure trekking, Peak Climbing, and Mountaineering Expeditions experience in Nepal and Tibet. All our trekking group leaders have undertaken an extensive wilderness first aid medical course, hold a government license, and are knowledgeable and specialized in leading groups in the mountains. All adventure climbing and mountaineering trips are staffed with a mountaineering Sherpa and a group leader with mountaineering training and experience. All trek leaders/guides are fluent in English, responsible, and committed to making your vacation a trip of a lifetime with fascinating memoirs. All nationality, provided their language of speaking tour leader's requirement.
