At Bon Himalaya, we want to make your booking process smooth, clear, and secure. Before confirming your trip, please go through our important terms and conditions. These help form a legal agreement between you (the traveler) and us.

How to Book Your Trip

To confirm your booking:

  • Fill out our Booking Application Form
  • Pay 25% of the total trip cost as an advance
  • Send us: A copy of your passport, two passport-size photos

The remaining balance (75%) must be paid in Nepal before your trip begins.

Submitting the above confirms you accept our terms and conditions.

Credit Card Payment

We accept Visa and MasterCard only. A 4% bank charge applies to credit card payments.

To pay by card, send us the following by email:

  • Passport copy
  • Both sides of your credit card
  • An authorization letter mentioning the total bill amount + bank fee
  • A passport-size photo

Cancellation & Refund Policy

To cancel your trip, you must email us with a valid reason. If you cancel 60+ days before the trip, a 15% fee applies. Cancellations made 30–59 days before will be charged 25%, 15–29 days before will be 50%, and less than 15 days before will receive no refund. No refunds are given for climbing permits, dropouts during the trip, or cancellations without valid reasons.

Air Ticket Cancellation

For flight cancellations, a 15% fee applies if done 30+ days before departure. Cancellations 15–29 days before will be charged 25%, 7–14 days before will be 50%, and less than 7 days will receive no refund.

Responsibilities

While we do our best to make your journey safe and memorable, we are not responsible for:

  • Natural disasters, flight delays, or cancellations
  • Political unrest, illness, or accidents
  • Any loss or damage beyond our control

All arrangements are made with utmost care, but we are not liable for unforeseen changes in the itinerary.

Assumption of Risk

Trekking in remote areas comes with risks like:

  • Accidents
  • Illness
  • Difficult terrain

By booking with us, you accept these risks and agree that Himalaya Discovery Treks is not responsible for injuries, losses, or delays.

Travel Insurance (Required)

Every traveler must have insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical expenses
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Baggage loss or theft

Make sure your insurance includes high-altitude trekking or mountaineering.

Use of Photos

We may use photos taken during your trip for our promotional content. If you don’t want us to use your images, please inform us in advance.

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information (like passport copies) to obtain trekking permits. Your data is kept safe and is not shared.

Complaints

If you face any issues during the trip, inform your guide or tour leader immediately so we can take corrective action.

Extra Charges

  • All prices are based on twin-sharing rooms or tents
  • If you need a single room, extra charges will apply
  • Any services beyond the agreed package will be charged additionally
