Description
Island Peak is in front of mt. Everest and Lhotse. Island Peak is also known as Imjatse in the Tibetan Sherpa language. This peak is during trekking in the Khumbu Everest region makes your degree in altitude, you can reach your highest point you have reached. Early in the morning must start at the top and see the sunrises in the mountains. After getting top and enjoying moments, get back to high camp and after lunch slowly down to Chukung village to celebrate the moment with the climbing sherp cook staff.
Island Peak (locally known as Imja Tse) is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking peaks, standing at 6,189 meters in the heart of the Everest region. Nestled in front of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse, it offers climbers the perfect introduction to Himalayan mountaineering. This expedition is a blend of classic Everest trekking and a peak climbing challenge, making it ideal for trekkers seeking their first climbing experience in Nepal.
The climb rewards you with panoramic views of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,501m), Nuptse (7,879m), Makalu (8,475m), Baruntse (7,220m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), and many more.

Itinerary
The journey begins with a flight to Lukla, followed by a trek through villages such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche. Acclimatization days are included to adjust to the altitude. From Chhukung, you trek to Island Peak Base Camp, where you receive basic climbing training before the summit push.
On summit day, you begin early in the morning, using ropes, crampons, and ice axes to reach the top. From the summit, you can enjoy breathtaking sunrise views over Everest and the surrounding mountains. Afterward, you descend back through the same trail to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
