Description
Mera Peak is the most beautiful and popular trekking peak climbing destination in behind Khumbu valley. The summit of 6476m is the highest trekking peak in Hunku Valley Nepal. At the top of the Mera, we could see the stunning view of Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga 8000-meter peaks. There are three summits of Mera: north 6476m, Mera center 6461m, and Mera south 6065m. Climbing Mera makes your highest point in life.

Required basic knowledge of use rope, ice axe, crampons. Mera peak is strenuous trek at high altitude and should be physically fitness and good acclimatized.

Your 17-day Mera Peak adventure begins with arrival in Kathmandu, a warm welcome, cultural dinner, and sightseeing of famous sites like Monkey Temple, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath. After preparing for the trek, you take a scenic flight to Lukla and start walking through villages, forests, valleys, and high passes, gradually reaching Chutanga, Thulikharka, Kothe, Thagnak, and Khare. At Khare you rest and train before heading to Mera High Camp. From there, you make the summit climb of Mera Peak (6,476m), enjoying breathtaking sunrise views of Everest and other Himalayan giants, before returning to Khare for celebration. The return trek follows the same route back to Lukla with a farewell party with the team. Back in Kathmandu, you explore Bhaktapur’s old palaces and culture, enjoy a farewell dinner, and finally depart home with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.
